Our passion is to bring hope, healing, and transformation to communities in need. Since our inception, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness and provision in every aspect of our ministry. From our growing church plant to our outreach efforts in orphan care, prison ministry, and missions, we are committed to sharing the love of Christ with those who need it most. Through practical assistance, spiritual guidance, and the power of prayer, we aim to empower individuals and families to experience God’s love in tangible ways. Mission: Our mission is to bring the love of Christ to orphans, the neediest, and vulnerable children by caring for the whole child, providing comprehensive support, and building intentional relationships with their families and communities to empower them all.
Vision: Our vision is for every orphaned and abandoned child to be loved, known, protected, and cared for, and for every heart to be transformed by the grace of God, ensuring comprehensive well-being and spiritual renewal.

How We Impact Lives
Joyland Restoration Ministries focuses on three main areas: Education, Child Caring Ministry, and Health. We empower children through quality education, provide a loving and supportive home environment, and ensure comprehensive healthcare. Each program is designed to address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the children, fostering their overall development and future self-reliance.
Education
Empowering children with knowledge and skills for future self-reliance. We believe that education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Through our educational programs, we provide children with the resources and support they need to succeed academically and develop into responsible, self-sufficient adults.
Child Caring Ministry
Providing a loving and supportive home environment. At Joyland, we create a nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and loved. Our child caring ministry focuses on meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each child, fostering their growth and development in a family-like setting.
Health
Ensuring comprehensive medical care and promoting healthy living. We provide essential health services, including regular medical check-ups, vaccinations, and health education. Our goal is to promote overall wellness and ensure that every child has access to the medical care they need to thrive.
Our Church
From a small group of six to a thriving community of over fifty committed members, our church plant continues to grow. We gather each Sunday to worship joyfully and serve the Lord together. Join us as we trust God for provision of land and a permanent church building.
Karamoja Missions
Reaching the Unreached
Our missions in Karamoja, led by Pastor Opige, have brought the Gospel and humanitarian aid to this challenging region. We’ve witnessed healings and transformations through our outreach.
Water Baptism
A Public Declaration of Faith
Celebrating new life in Christ through baptism. We have baptized 20 individuals, symbolizing their commitment to faith and spiritual growth. Join us in our regular baptism events where we welcome new believers into the faith and celebrate their spiritual rebirth.
Restoring Hope and Transforming Lives Behind Bars
Prison Ministry
In partnership with local prisons, we bring hope and transformation to inmates. Our prison ministry has reached over 50 inmates, providing spiritual support and resources for rehabilitation and reintegration. Join us as we continue to minister to those behind bars.

In our program, providing them with love, support, and practical assistance.
Inmates gave their lives to Jesus Christ
Experiencing transformation and hope through our prison ministry.
Households assisted
In Soroti and Karamoja during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering food, hygiene supplies, and spiritual support.
